A rustic light weight stoneware dish with real sage leaves fossilized in clay, is ideal to burn sage and clean up your space.
The leaf impressions which are originally made in clay, burn off during the first firing. In that process I believe that each pieces possesses a little bit of sage wisdom and healing.
These impressions are filled with food safe underglazes and made to stand out, once the organic matter has been burned off in the first firing.
Every piece is unique and varies not only because it is hand made, but because it has a different leaf fossilized in it.
