Our fresh Crushed Red Pepper Flakes from India do the trick for me every time. They’re not “set-your-mouth-on-fire” hot. Just a medium heat and sharpness. You won’t need a fire extinguisher.
These flakes have a brightness and freshness to them that puts the grocery market version to shame. Most of the stuff I’ve seen on grocery store shelves should be called “Brown Pepper Flakes” because they’re usually so old.
Our Red Pepper Flakes come from a famous pepper growing district in India called Guntur. Like all of our spices, we bring them in fresh and direct in small batches.
Use these flakes in pizza, pasta, and seafood. Anywhere you want to kick the heat up a notch or three.
